After four years of college and softball at George Mason University, I entered the Montgomery County Police Academy, where I met my husband, Darren. In 1988, Darren and I married, moved to Olney, Maryland and will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary early in 2013. Our two daughters, Robin & Shayna were born in 1990 and 1992 and our son came a few years later in 1997. I stayed with Montgomery County Sheriff's Office until 1994 and then stayed home full time to raise my three beautiful children. The girls are in College in Maryland and New Jersey and my son attends Sherwood High School. My husband Darren has been in the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for close to 30 years and was elected as the Sheriff of Montgomery County, Maryland in 2010.

My favorite thing to do is spending as much time as possible together with my family and taking my Collie dog, Nala, on walks.
